Here are some tips for dealing with an eye emergency.

If your eyes have been exposed to harmful chemicals, rinse your eyes thoroughly with cool, clean water for and seek medical help.
If you have experienced blunt force trauma to your eye or eye area, place a cold compress gently over the injured area and seek medical help immediately.
If your eyelid becomes scratched, torn, or punctured, please refrain from touching the area. Cover it gently with an eye shield and seek medical help immediately.
